Demand Planner

We are experiencing rapid growth with a continuous expanding range of products and expansion of our Distribution Centres. 

With this exciting growth, there are new positions continually becoming available and we are looking to appoint a Demand Planner to be based in our Southern Brisbane office. 

About the role

Under the leadership of the National Manager, you will facilitate the planning, ordering and delivery of stock to our distribution centres (Australia and New Zealand) ensuring the company's continuance of providing quality customer service to all Key Stakeholders.  

Your responsibilities are (and not limited to):

• Develop and manage operational budgets/forecasts from historical demand information 

• Strive to deliver optimum inventory across the network, at the right time, at the right quantity 

• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries working directly with international and local suppliers

• Be the point of contact for any supply or demand issues

• Monitor and report on supplier performance such as tracking delays and ensure the timely communication to key stakeholders on potential issues

• Other general stock controller duties as required

About you

• We are seeking someone who is highly analytical and possess excellent communication skills with a couple years of experience working in a similar role.

• Inventory and importation experience or interest

• 1 year Demand Planner experience

• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and interpret data and to determine great business outcomes

• Strong organizing and planning skills and is able to effectively prioritize workload

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of building relationships
