Your Tasks

You'll be an integral part of our sales operations - handling customer enquiries, preparing accurate quotes, and keeping orders moving from placement through to delivery.

• Respond to customer enquiries professionally and within agreed timeframes
• Assist customers with product selection using catalogues and technical information
• Prepare and submit commercially sound, accurate quotes
• Follow up inbound leads and forward qualified opportunities to the external sales team
• Generate sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation
• Monitor and expedite back orders, keeping customers informed of ETAs
• Provide internal support to the external Sales Team
• Process cash and account sales in line with company policy
• Work toward and achieve agreed sales and gross profit targets

About You

You're someone who communicates well, pays close attention to detail, and takes ownership of delivering great customer experiences. You're equally comfortable on the phone, behind a screen, and occasionally on the warehouse floor.

You'll bring:

• Experience in an internal sales, trade counter, or customer service role
• Ability to read and interpret technical catalogues and product manuals
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• High attention to detail, particularly around pricing, quoting, and documentation
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems
• A customer-first mindset combined with a commercial focus
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
