Supervisor

JWS Industries are seeking experienced and motivated Supervisors to join our team at South32 Worsley Alumina. This position offers an excellent work-life balance while leading a skilled team in a safety-focused environment.

Roster

·        Sportsman Roster (5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 4 off - including nightshift)

·        Project Roster (4 days on, 3 days off - dayshift, however requirement to work nightshift at times)

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading crews, coordinating daily work activities and ensuring all work is completed safely on schedule and to client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crews

• Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.

• Coordinate labour, equipment and materials.

• Monitor work quality, productivity and progress.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and workforce.

• Promote a positive safety culture and mentor team members.

• Complete daily reporting and required documentation.

Essential Requirements

• Section 26 (S26) Supervisor qualification – mandatory

• Previous experience supervising crews within mining or heavy industry.

• Trade Qualification (Fabrication or Mechanical)

• Working at Heights

• Confined Space Entry

• OHS Construction Induction Card

• Strong commitment to safety leadership.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Desirable

• High Risk Work Licence (where applicable).
