Join our Services APAC team within the Services division in Australia as a Project Engineer to help us take our Maitland Service Centre to the next level. 

What will you be doing? 

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities day to day will include: 

• Support operational activities within the workshop.

• Support the sales team to meet financial objectives. 

• Become a reliable link between the workshop and clients. 

• Monitor workshop activities and outcomes for the client. 

• Provide qualified technical detail/calculations and design as required by internal and external clients. 

• Compilation of reports on assigned projects. 

• Ensure, uphold and demonstrate safe work and quality assurance practices at all times. 

• Liaise with customers’ regarding estimation. 

• Liaise with vendors for technical and commercial enquiries and clarifications. 

• Liaise with engineering team and coordinate reverse engineering as required. 

What you will bring to Sulzer

To be a successful Project Engineer, you will ideally have: 

• A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 

• Demonstrated experience with technical report writing

• Management responsibility experience (cost control, strategy, etc.)

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to engage and work with others. 

• Experience in Estimation / contracts & tenders
