About Your Workplace
Join Miele's Finance team and play an important role in supporting the financial operations of one of the world's leading premium appliance brands. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll ensure supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Working within a collaborative and high-performing Finance team, you'll help maintain the integrity of our financial processes, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the delivery of exceptional service across the business.
Your Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments accurately and in accordance with company policiesPrepare payment runs and ensure creditors are paid within agreed termsReconcile supplier statements and key accounts to maintain accurate financial recordsRespond to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries, delivering timely and professional customer serviceAssist with month-end activities, reporting and reconciliation processes to support the Finance teamContribute to process improvements, documentation and the ongoing enhancement of Accounts Payable proceduresSupport the wider Finance team with administrative and operational tasks as required
What We Are Looking ForMust-have
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration roleStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skillsGood reconciliation and analytical problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the businessIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
Nice-to-have
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Concur, SAP, AS400 or similarExperience working in a medium to large corporate environmentUnderstanding of GST compliance and financial controlsExperience contributing to process improvement initiatives
