About the role
Hands-on role
We’re looking for a hands-on General Labour / Trade Assistants to join our Operations team and support the manufacture of high-quality, Australian-made trailers and transport products. Working alongside skilled tradespeople, you’ll help keep jobs and/or machinery and equipment moving through preparation, assembly, and general workshop assistance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and on-time service.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, varied work and takes pride in doing the job properly. You’ll bring a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a reliable approach to supporting the team each day.
We also provide on-the-job training in areas such as machinery maintenance, hydraulic, air, mechanical, and electrical fitting to help you build confidence and develop your skills.
In this role, you’ll:
Support trade teams with preparation, assembly, kitting, tool and equipment sourcing, through to wash bay assistance and/or machinery and equipment maintenance
Assist with general duties to keep operations on schedule
Maintain high quality and safety standards across all tasks
Help maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace
What We’re Looking For
Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to follow direction and work well in a team
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Basic experience using hand tools and reading simple drawings and/or equipment manuals
Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous)
Forklift licence (desirable)
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, lifting, and manual handling
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment through Queensland summers and winters
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace
