Wide Format Print Operator & Finisher - Subcontractor

We require Wide Format Print Operators & Finishers for our constantly growing and rapidly expanding wide format production department to work either day or afternoon shifts. Excellent working environment with above award rates, the latest equipment and centrally located in Alexandria.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for running various wide format equipment, including the latest Canon Colorado and Vutek Q3r plotters, producing high quality wide format and associated products with quick turnarounds.

Key Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and gain valuable commercial experience in a successful Wide Format and Digital Printing environment. We are looking for aptitude over experience. If you are relatively new to the print world or are interested in establishing your career in high quality print this is the job for you. We can offer full training on the job across all of our digital equipment. You just need to bring a good work ethic and a willingness to learn!

The ideal candidate will :

• have a minimum of one year's commercial experience in a similar role

• be reliable

• be a team player with a positive attitude

• be proactive, efficient and are able to work unsupervised

• be quality & client focused

• have the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks to ensure that deadlines are met

• have strong organisational skills

• be experienced in pre-press/artwork and colour management (preferred but not essential)

• be a permanent or full-time resident of Australia
