Full-time, Part-time or Casual Dental Assistant

We are looking for an energetic Full-time, Part-time or Casual Dental Assistant to join our growing and supportive team at le tooth. You will be working across our state-of-the-art, architecturally designed clinics in Ascot and West End.

You will display a genuine enthusiasm to learn, show initiative and be willing to become part of a dedicated, hardworking team of professionals.

Certificate III in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded, although not essential.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

Your role as Dental Assistant is to prepare patients and assist dentists in providing treatment. Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Providing efficient chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry for clinical procedures

• Preparing the surgery with the appropriate instruments/materials for each patient according to the treatment required

• Maintaining sterilisation and infection control protocols for all instruments and equipment

• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation

• Providing professional patient service and communication by phone, email, and in person

You should demonstrate the following:

• Strong work ethic and proactive mindset

• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

• Flexibility and ability to adapt

• Proficient computer skills (experience with EXACT preferable)

• Outstanding communication and patient management skills
