About the role
Wespine is based in Dardanup West in the scenic Southwest of Western Australia. As the leading softwood timber processor in WA, Wespine is a key business in the Southwest community, working safely as a team to manufacture timber building products for distribution throughout Australia.

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our dedicated QC team. The QC Officers are responsible for ensuring product specification and compliance are achieved throughout Wespine’s manufacturing processes.
This role is offered on a full-time basis working 45 hours per week on a fortnightly rotating shift roster.

Proficient Computer Skills in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
Tune and maintain Optimisation and Quality systems to achieve the best possible outcomes for Wespine.
General understanding of Quality Control sampling regimes for structural and non-structural performance control.
Perform Strength monitoring measurements, testing and data recording in a timely fashion and with high degree of accuracy.
Ability to interpret QC acceptance criteria on a batch-by-batch basis.
Carry out quality checks at regular intervals to measure machine performance and identify causes of mis-manufacture.
Perform regular machine alignments and calibrations.
Shift work is a requirement of this role.
