We are currently seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead our Pastry Kitchen and elevate our culinary offering.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will lead the Pastry Kitchen and support the broader Food & Beverage operation to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will:

• Lead and manage the Pastry Kitchen to achieve financial and productivity targets
• Maintain exceptional quality and consistency across all pastry and dessert offerings
• Support menu development, seasonal promotions, and special event offerings
• Contribute to the hotel’s revenue planning and marketing initiatives
• Manage labour costs in line with forecasts and business needs
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing pastry team
• Foster a positive team environment aligned with our brand-defining Inspire Incredible culture.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and WHS standards
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and stay current with industry trends
• Drive continuous improvement across kitchen operations and procedures

• Trade qualification(s) in Patisserie (Cert III or higher)
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort environment (desirable)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a passion for mentoring others
• Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and WHS practices
