About the role
About Us
Cannexx Pty Ltd is a TGA GMP-certified contract packaging and distribution company operating in the medicinal cannabis sector. Holding licences across GMP manufacturing, distribution, storage, import, and sponsorship, we deliver compliant, high-quality logistics and packaging services to partners across the industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced warehouse operator to perform warehouse operations and ensure our supply chain runs efficiently, accurately, and in full regulatory compliance.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the warehouse operator will take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, and outbound distribution. This is a hands-on role in a regulated environment — strong systems literacy is essential, as our operations rely heavily on digital inventory and distribution platforms to maintain traceability and GMP compliance at every step.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Reconcile inventory using our warehouse management system (WMS), ensuring real-time accuracy of stock levels.
• Maintain full batch and lot traceability in line with TGA GMP requirements and Cannexx SOPs.
• Coordinate with freight, couriers, and distribution schedules to meet customer and partner delivery timelines.
• Foster a culture of safety, accuracy, and accountability.
• Monitor and enforce WHS, security, and storage licence obligations across the facility.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce error rates.
• Prepare regular reporting on stock accuracy for senior management.
• Liaise with QA, procurement, and regulatory teams to support audits and licence compliance.
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics role, ideally within a regulated or GMP environment.
• Strong computer literacy is essential — confident working across inventory, ERP, and reporting systems daily.
• Hands-on experience with logistics software is required; working knowledge of CartonCloud is highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles, batch traceability, and stock reconciliation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of TGA GMP, ODC licensing, or medicinal cannabis regulatory requirements is highly advantageous.
