Since opening in September 2025, our Sydenham centre has experienced growth and has quickly become a valued part of the local community. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an exceptional leader to guide our busy 16-place Babies Room and help shape the next stage of our centre's journey.

About the Role

Due to the incredible growth and success of our Sydenham service since opening in September 2025, we're excited to be expanding our leadership team and are looking for an experienced and passionate Toddler Room Leader to lead our vibrant 16-place Babies Room (0-2 years).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving, purpose-built centre where you'll have the support, resources and autonomy to create an engaging learning environment that nurtures children's curiosity, confidence and development during these important early years.

As our Baby Room Leader, you'll lead a dedicated team of educators, building strong relationships with children and families while creating meaningful learning experiences for up to 16 babies each day.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading and mentoring a team of educators within our 16-place Toddler Room (0-2 years)

• Planning and implementing engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports children's independence and development

• Building genuine partnerships with families and maintaining open communication

• Supporting children's learning, wellbeing, confidence and emerging social skills

• Documenting children's learning and development through the Xplor Home App

• Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and safety in line with the National Quality Framework

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved) or higher

• Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader

• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and child development

• A positive, collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor and inspire others

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Protection training and Working With Children Check

• A current National Foundations Child Safety Training certificate
