About the role
Perth Rewind Industries is looking for a reliable Workshop Trades Assistant to join our team in Bayswater.
We are a long-established electric motor, pump, generator and rotating equipment repair business. We work on equipment for industrial, mining, commercial and other customers across WA.
This is a full-time, hands-on workshop role suited to someone who is practical, reliable, willing to work and interested in learning.

Be mature and responsible
Be mechanically minded and comfortable using tools
Be willing to get your hands dirty
Be able to follow instructions
Work well as part of a team
Be safety conscious
Be able to work without needing constant supervision
Be comfortable working in a busy workshop
A forklift licence is preferred but is not essential for the right person.
Experience in a workshop, mechanical, electrical, pump, maintenance, mining or Trades Assistant role would be highly regarded.
Applicants must have full, unrestricted Australian work rights and already be based in Perth. We will not consider applicants requiring visa sponsorship or applicants on restricted work visas.

Local deliveries and pickups
Moving motors, pumps and other equipment around the workshop

General workshop support
There will also be opportunities to learn more about electric motors, pumps, generators and rotating equipment as you gain experience.
Stable, full-time employment
Monday to Friday workshop work
Long-established local business
Friendly and experienced workshop team
Varied, hands-on work
Opportunity to learn useful mechanical skills
Opportunity to grow with the business

Please apply through SEEK with your resume and a short note telling us about your work experience and why you are interested in the role.
