Position: Sr. Network Engineer (SRv6)
Must Have Skills: SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN
Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks Strong hands-on experience with: SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6) MPLS & Segment Routing BGP, ISIS, OSPF EVPN/VXLAN IPv4 & IPv6 Traffic Engineering and QoS
Experience On
Nokia 7750 SR / SR OS Cisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XR Juniper (preferred) Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs Ability to provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents
Preferred Certifications
CCNP/CCIE Service Provider Nokia NRS-I / NRS-II JNCIP-SP / JNCIE-SP ITIL Foundation
