What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of a team with the following responsibilities:

• Analyse customer requirements and develop network solutions.
• Design, configure and maintain LAN, WAN and wireless network infrastructure.
• Install, integrate and optimise enterprise networking technologies.
• Monitor network performance and implement infrastructure improvements.
• Investigate and resolve complex network and systems issues.
• Conduct network audits, health checks and technical assessments.
• Plan and deliver network upgrades and migration projects.
• Develop technical documentation, network diagrams and implementation plans.
• Support mining communications, camp WiFi and integrated IP based systems, including CCTV and access control.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Support commissioning, testing and quality assurance activities.
• Identify security risks and implement network security improvements.

What We're Looking For:

• A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networking and network security.
• Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Ruckus, Calix or similar enterprise networking platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience working in mining, industrial or remote communications environments will be highly regarded.
