Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior PeopleSoft Developer / Functional Consultant role is based in Sydney, NSW. The role involves designing, configuring, and developing PeopleSoft solutions, including creating and modifying components, pages, and interfaces to meet business requirements. The person in this role will collaborate closely with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and implement enhancements and new functionalities. Daily responsibilities include providing production support, troubleshooting system issues, performing root-cause analysis, and ensuring stable, reliable PeopleSoft operations. The role also includes managing integrations with other HR and business systems, supporting upgrades and patches, documenting solutions, and contributing to process improvements and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong PeopleSoft expertise, including hands-on experience across key HR modules and functional consulting capabilities.Proficiency in Component Interface and related PeopleSoft development tools to configure, extend, and integrate system functionality.Experience with system Integration, including web services, APIs, and middleware, to connect PeopleSoft with other applications.Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements, perform impact analysis, and resolve complex technical and functional issues.Background in Production Support, including incident management, performance monitoring, and user support in enterprise environments.Experience with HR processes and HRMS implementations, ideally within SME or multi-entity organizations.Ability to work on-site in Sydney, NSW and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Knowledge of SQL, PeopleTools, and reporting tools (e.g., BI Publisher, SQR, or similar) is highly beneficial.Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable solutions.
