Finance Analyst - Gift Cards

An opportunity for a Finance Analyst has become available to collaborate with our Customer and Destinations Team, where you will be partnering with our Westfield Gift Card business to provide financial analysis and insights, delivering accurate financial reporting and become a trusted business partner.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

• Preparation and delivery of accurate management financial reporting, variance analysis and insights for month-end, budget and forecast processes for our gift card business
• Preparation and delivery of compliance matters ensuring accuracy and consistent treatment of accounting issues including half-year and year-end audit process, monthly BAS, FBT, statutory financial reporting and income tax.
• Support the delivery of overhead reporting for the gift card business
• Build trusted relationship with key stakeholders by engaging with and influencing operational business partners and cross functional finance teams, to gain alignment on commercial outcomes.
• Challenge existing processes and make recommendations for improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness of all reporting and processes.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, curious and detail-focused, with a commercial mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality accurate financial insights.

• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong experience with modelling and working with large data sets
• Strong communication and proven ability to partner with the business.
• Experience leading and improving processes, with the confidence to drive outcomes
• Demonstrate well-rounded knowledge of technical accounting matters
• Undergraduate degree, plus CA or CPA qualification or relevant technical experience
