We are a well-established Chartered Accounting firm located in Osborne Park and are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team.

This role is ideally suited to an accountant with a solid background in public practice who enjoys working closely with clients and providing practical business and taxation advice.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries and assisting with:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.

• Preparation of BAS and IAS returns.

• Tax planning and compliance advice.

• Preparation of management reports and business performance analysis.

• Liaising directly with clients and the ATO.

• Assisting clients with business structuring and general business advisory matters.

• Supporting junior team members where required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in public practice accounting.

• Professional qualifications as either a CA or CPA.

• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements.

• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a broad range of entities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and APS/XPA would be advantageous.
