Registered Nurse

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As an RN at Medical Hub West Ryde, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent clinical care, supporting our general practitioners, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including triage, wound management, immunisations, and chronic disease management.
• Assist doctors with minor procedures, patient assessments, and care planning.
• Perform health assessments and develop care plans for patients with chronic conditions.
• Conduct screenings, such as ECGs, spirometry, and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our clinical software.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, including lifestyle and medication advice.
• Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting (preferred).
• Proficiency in wound care, chronic disease management, and vaccination administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• A commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
• Experience using clinical software Best Practice is advantageous.
