Business Services Manager • Penrith location• Interesting and active client base with International exposure• Growing and progressive firm with a family friendly culture About the team and work• Working very closely with the partner to manage a large fee base.• Fun team of 5 with varying experience• Client base includes businesses with turnover exceeding $100m, subsidiaries of Significant Global Entities, family groups and HNW individuals.
What the role entails• Be part of the firm’s leadership team• Develop and maintain relationships directly with a number of clients.• Assist the partner with being a second point of contact for a number of large corporate groups• Assist with prospective new clients including preparing fee proposals, initial meetings with partner and on boarding of new clients.• Be hands on and involved with more complex technical and business advisory matters.• Train and mentor team members in technical, soft and client management skills.• Review work prepared by team members.• Help improve internal processes and procedures across the team.• Able to be flexible with working hours when required during peak times and for client meetings that may arise outside of normal working hours• Manage the team including workflow, billings, budgets and lodgments.

• Enjoys initiating tasks and able to solve problems using a practical approach.• Likes working in a group environment.• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills - able to build and maintain relationship using effective communication.• Strong written skills.• High attention to detail particularly with reviewing work done by team.• Ability to maintain and improve processes and procedures within the team.• Have the patience and ability to train and develop team members.• Current technical tax knowledge.• Chartered Accountant with over 10 years business service experience and at least 4 years experience as a business services manager.
