We currently have two vacancies for suitably experienced Plant Operator / Multi-Skilled Workers to join our Domestic Resource Recovery team in Maroubra.

We will trust you to bring:
Demonstrated experience in working in a team
Class HR driver’s licence or relevant other certified qualifications
A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card
Experience in dealing with members of the public
An ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
A willingness to comply with all Council’s policies and procedures
Previous experience in a similar role will be highly advantageous.
Things you will do:
Perform duties with minimal supervision, while also being able to work in a team environment
Will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of rear loading compactor vehicles.
Perform all activities in accordance with Council’s Safe Work Method Statements
Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and Council policy requirements and standards in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity; Work, Health and Safety and Rehabilitation; and environmental protection.
Ensure an ethic with the focus on quality customer service that is responsive to the needs of the community.
