Join us as an Early Childhood Educator at our Daphne Street Early Learning Centre, and be part of a collaborative, inclusive team supporting children to grow, connect and thrive in their early years. 

What you’ll do

As an Early Childhood Educator at our Daphne Street Early Learning Centre in Prospect, you’ll be part of a unique dual-facility service supporting children across both mainstream early learning settings and Autism Specific Early Learning Childcare Centre (ASELCC).

Offered as a full-time ongoing position, this role is based within our mainstream baby room, supporting our youngest children during an important stage of their learning and development. You’ll work as part of a dedicated classroom team, building strong and meaningful relationships with children and families while creating a nurturing, safe and engaging environment.

Working within a supportive and collaborative setting, you’ll deliver play-based learning experiences that encourage each child’s development, wellbeing, participation and connection. Being part of a dual-facility service also provides opportunities to learn from the broader team, including Educators and Allied Health professionals working within ASELCC.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

• Supporting children’s learning and developmental goals through engaging, inclusive classroom experiences
• Contributing to programming and daily routines within multiple classrooms
• Building strong, consistent relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Recording observations and supporting documentation that contributes to meaningful learning outcomes

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR in an education and care setting
• Current RRHAN-EC and Geccko training (Foundations of child safety training course 1 and 2)
• Knowledge of, and a genuine interest in, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and diverse learning, communication and sensory needs

We would also love you to have:

• Experience working with children with developmental delay and/or disability
• Current police, WWCC, NDIS screening check, and current flu vaccine or willingness to obtain
