About the role

We are seeking a Fencer or Labourer to join our growing team at our Munno Para, SA location. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse fencing projects in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of fencing systems, contributing directly to the quality and success of each project. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and are keen to develop their skills within the fencing and trades industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of various types of fencing systems, including timber, colorbond, vinyl, and chain-link fencing

• Preparing work sites by clearing debris, levelling ground, and setting out materials in preparation for installation

• Digging post holes and assisting with the positioning and securing of fence posts

• Measuring, cutting, and fitting fence panels and materials to specification

• Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Assisting experienced fencers with all aspects of fencing installation and repair work

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

• Loading and unloading materials from vehicles and managing site organisation

• Assisting with the removal and disposal of old or damaged fencing

• Supporting the team to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of workmanship

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in fencing, landscaping, general labouring, or a related trade (desirable but not essential)

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks consistently

• A strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work as part of a team

• Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools, or willingness to learn

• A current valid driver's licence

• Awareness of health and safety requirements on construction sites

• The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
