Housing Administration Worker

BaptistCare Affordable Housing (BAH) is seeking a highly organised and proactive Housing Administration Worker to join our team on a 6-month full-time contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to contribute to a growing affordable housing program and support positive housing outcomes for renters.

As part of a purpose-driven and values-based organisation, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our housing services through quality administration, accurate record management, compliance support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

Reporting to the Housing Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative support across tenancy and property functions during a period of operational consolidation and improvement. Working closely with the Housing Services Worker and Housing Project Worker, you will help maintain accurate records, enhance administrative systems, and support key housing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining tenancy, property and operational records.
• Auditing and improving electronic filing and record management systems.
• Assisting with annual rent review processes and renter satisfaction surveys.
• Preparing tenancy agreements and related documentation.
• Supporting regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Assisting with the development and improvement of document templates and procedures.
• Coordinating meetings, correspondence and other administrative activities.
• Liaising with renters, suppliers, regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to projects that improve operational systems, processes and service delivery.

About You

You are an experienced administrator who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and delivering high-quality support. You thrive in a collaborative environment, can manage competing priorities, and enjoy improving processes and systems.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in an administration, records management or coordination role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic record management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Experience within the housing, community services or not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
