Operations Team Member

ABOUT THE ROLE

Mainfreight Transport Sydney is currently seeking energetic and reliable team members join our Operations Team.  Based in our purpose-built Transport facility in Prestons, you will be responsible for working in a large team in the heart of one of the countries largest freight Operations. We are looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced working environment, enjoy working as part of a team and have ambition for career progression as part of our ‘promote from within’ philosophy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation of a counterbalance forklift

• Loading and unloading of interstate linehaul vehicles

• Load restraint in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.

• Working as part of a strong team

• Scanning and checking freight

• Adhering to safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Skills & Requirements:

• Forklift Licence (preferred but not required)

• Experience in warehouse operations

• Reliable and a positive attitude

• Strong attention to detail

• Commitment to safety

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday

• 2pm – 11.30pm

• 5am – 2.30pm
