About the Role
A private family in Armadale is looking for an experienced maternity nurse, midwife or experienced nanny to care for their three young children on a four-day roster (13 hours per day). The family is looking for two people to take on the four days between them. This is a casual, long-term position with an immediate start. A paid day rate applies when travelling with the family (interstate or international, as mutually agreed).
Roster and pay
Rate: $55–$65 per hour depending on qualifications, inclusive of superannuation
Working days are set from within: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Allocated days will be set and not interchangeable; day swaps require arrangement with another nanny, with notice and approval
Responsibilities
Providing exceptional care, supervision, and ensuring the children's safety.
Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Managing children's laundry, wardrobes, and organising clothes.
Keeping children's bedrooms, playrooms, prams, highchairs, bottles, and toys clean and organised.
Following routines for naps, meals, activities, and appointments.
Liaising with parents and providing regular updates on the children's day.
Maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Various other responsibilities as instructed by the principals.
What we're looking for
Qualified midwife or maternity nurse (AHPRA registration or equivalent), or an experienced professional nanny.
Demonstrated experience caring for infants.
Current Employee Working with Children Check (VIC).
Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012 or equivalent).
Willing to complete a National Police Check.
Full working rights in Australia.
