We're seeking an exceptional ECT or Diploma-qualified Room Leader to join our warm, welcoming, and inclusive team at our 70-place Not-for-profit Early Childhood Education and Care service in Woy Woy.

About the Role

As Room Leader, you will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can learn, explore, and flourish. Working in partnership with the Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor, you will lead your team in delivering a high-quality educational program that reflects children's interests, strengths, and individual developmental needs.

This role offers the perfect blend of leadership, collaboration, and hands-on teaching, with ongoing support, mentoring, and dedicated programming time to help you succeed.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

• Implement a play-based program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0).

• Build positive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of your room, including planning, documentation, routines, and supervision.

• Create an environment that supports children's wellbeing, learning, inclusion, and development.

• Guide reflective practice and continuous improvement within your team.

• Maintain meaningful observations, assessments, and learning documentation.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service excellence.

About You

You are a positive, nurturing, and motivated educator who is passionate about early childhood education and genuinely loves supporting children to learn, grow, and thrive. You lead by example, build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and are committed to creating engaging learning experiences that make a lasting difference in children's lives. 💜

You bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a strong belief in every child's potential, along with the ability to inspire and support those around you.

You'll Bring:

• Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to five years) OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

• Current NSW Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Leader or experienced Senior Educator (highly regarded)

• Strong knowledge of the EYLF V2.0, National Quality Framework (NQF), and NSW Child Safe Standards

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care

• A love of working with children and a commitment to supporting their learning, wellbeing, and development

• The ability to mentor and inspire educators while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
