About You

We are looking for a Harzdous Material Technician (Asbestos Removalist) OR Demolition/Construction Labourer for our ACT branch.

• Asbestos Class A & B Licence is advantageous but not required. Training for the right candidate will be provided.

• Willing to work away from home for approximately 2–3 months per year (not necessarily consecutively). Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA) provided for eligible periods.

• Current drivers’ license and own reliable transport

• Follow instructions given by supervisors and maintain a high work ethic

• Maintain the current Australian standards of work and comply with all company policies and procedures

• Be flexible and able to adapt easily when completing new tasks

• Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

• Experience in construction/demolition industry is preferred but not essential

• Enthusiasm and dedication are highly valued. 

Highly Desirable but Not Required:

• EWP tickets - Scissor/Under 11m boom - RIIHAN301E

• EWP - Over 11m Boom - TLILIC0005 + High Risk Work Licence

• Work Safely at Heights - RIIWHS204E

• Supervise Asbestos Ticket - CPCCDE4008

• Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention - 10830NAT
