About us:
GOC Care is an experienced Community Service Provider that has been caring for the community for over 40 years. We provide community-based responses for people within the Brisbane Metropolitan, Brisbane North & South and Gold Coast Regions.
We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to provide support to our NDIS clients in the Brisbane region, predominately Brisbane South.
The role:
Disability Services Provided by GOC Care:
Respite Centre and SIL in Mount Gravatt
Day activity Centre (DAC) in South Brisbane
Community support
You will assist our clients to lead fulfilling lives in the comfort of their homes and/ or provide assistance to young people in our respite home, SIL and DAC.
Our ideal support worker will be reliable and have good availability to work varying shifts including sleepovers.
Role essentials (please note, these are mandatory requirements to be successful in this role):
Certificate III in Disability Support, Individual Support or equivalent
Current Certificates in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
NDIS Worker Module Certificate of Competency
Current NDIS worker screening (Yellow Card)
Current working with Children Check (Blue Card) desirable
Drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eligibility to work in Australia
