Key information:

• Full Time Hours. Work Mon-Fri, or work weekends, you choose!

• Flexible Roster (work around school pickup etc)

• Location: Wilston, Brisbane.

What's for Dinner? is a new and innovative entry into the Brisbane Food scene. Having opened in March we are producing tasty, healthy prepackaged meals, and a daily menu of fresh takeaway options. We have over 25 Google 5 star ratings.

We offer wholesome, tasty food from a range of cuisines. Backed by a dietician, our food contains no nasties, no seed oils and no nut products. We work clean, and healthy, but mostly it's about being delicious!

We're looking for an Experienced Cook who can take the reins and bring us more of this goodness.

We welcome creative input, autononous work , and the ability to really help guide the direction of the brand and the food we produce.

Monday to Friday only, and work around your personal commitments.

What We're Looking For:

• An Experienced Cook with at least 2 years' experience in a quality, high-volume production-style kitchen

• Catering Experience highly regarded

• The ability to operate autonomously while keeping a team vibe

• Attention to detail, working with our Head Chef to meet KPIs and Budgets

• Energy, professionalism, and a proven track record of getting stuff done

** This role is about finding the right candidate with professional and life experience. It's not about certificates, it's about attitude and kitchen skills.

Your Role Will Include:

• Production Focus: Deliver quality and consistency at scale – no plating, no table service

• Stock & Cost Management: Work with Chef to order smart, manage inventory, and track food costs

• Food Safety: Stay compliant with all hygiene and safety regulations

• Collaboration: Work closely with the retail manager and owners to keep things rolling.
