Retail Casual Assistant Marrickville

Pickles Schoolwear is currently seeking a talented Casual Retail Sales Assistant , You will be based in our Marrickville Store  , also some flexibility to work at our other stores would be an advantage. As part of our Retail Team you will be an integral part of our growing business, with a strong focus on customer service and the ability to multi-task is essential.

The responsibilities of the position are as follows but not limited to;

• Deliver a positive Customer Service experience across all touch points including in store, online and via phone.

• Efficiently and accurately process sales on the POS system including exchanges/returns as well as online orders. 

• Accept deliveries, unpack and arrange stock, replenishing fixtures and stocktaking – lifting is required.

• Maintain and follow administration processes and systems with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Follow measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S)

• Ensure store presentation is maintained with daily cleaning and uphold visual merchandising standards for the store and any displays. 

To be successful in this position you will need the following skills;

• Proficient computer skills in POS, Excel, Word and Email programs.

• Customer service focus with friendly helpful attitude and willingness to ‘go the extra mile’.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to multi task and follow up.

• Required to be flexible and adaptable for working in a fast paced, changeable environment.

• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Should be of smart appearance and have a can-do attitude.

• Be able to stand for long periods with lifting involved.

• Working with children check.

• Drivers Licence a must with a good driving record.

• Experience in fashion/clothing industry highly regarded.

• Flexibility with hours during busy periods
