Allied Health Professional - Occupational Therapist

LifeTec have an exciting job opportunity within our Occupational Therapy team. Our occupational therapists prescribe assistive technology and home modifications that help improve the safety and independence of our consumers across NDIS and Aged Care.

About the Role

• Work with consumers to deliver rewarding outcomes

• Assist consumers to find, choose, learn and use assistive technology to achieve their goals

• Implement home modifications to help consumers to stay in their homes

• Liaise with key stakeholders including coordinators, contractors and carers

• Salary is dependent on experience

• New graduates are welcome to apply

• Part time and Full time positions available

• Registered with AHPRA

• A valid driver's license

• Blue Card / NDIS Worker screening check

• AFP Police Check

• Excited to delve deeply into the world of assistive technology and home modifications and keen to learn

• Working knowledge and passion for assistive technologies and home modifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in clinical frameworks, goal setting, assessment, clinical reasoning and outcome measures

• Good personal and written communication skills

• Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work as a team

• Effective time management

• Innovative practice and the ability to adapt and learn new systems and processes quickly
