About the role

Fabric Nightclub is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Nightclub Staff to join our vibrant team in Surfers Paradise. This is a casual position. You will be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our guests, whether you're working behind the bar, on the floor, or in another support capacity. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service and atmosphere that Fabric Nightclub is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Serving drinks efficiently and accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards

• Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your designated work area throughout your shift

• Following all health and safety protocols and responsible service of alcohol guidelines

• Processing payments and handling cash or electronic transactions accurately

• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

• Responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns or complaints professionally

• Supporting setup and breakdown of the venue as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, or nightclub environments is desirable but not necessary

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests of all backgrounds

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and processing orders

• Physical stamina to work standing for extended periods during evening shifts

• Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol practices and willingness to adhere to all venue policies

• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to shift work

• A passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences

• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it
