Epiq is Australia’s premium supplier of transcription services, with offices across Australia providing court reporting, e-discovery, e-trials, and transcription services for government agencies, law firms and corporates.  

The Role

We are currently seeking full-time and casual Transcribers to join our team! This role is hybrid with office attendance in our Perth CBD office.

We are prioritising candidates who can commit to a hybrid arrangement, with at least two-three days per week working in the office. We can consider remote applicants who are not based in Perth, but must be available for hours suitable for the Perth team.

Transcribers are responsible for the accurate and timely production of transcript in various styles and formats, utilizing a variety of audio types and production and research tools. Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.    

About you 

You probably love to read. You have a commendable vocabulary and wouldn’t mind embellishing it with some niche legal terminology. You type with ease, and with excellent spelling and grammar.    

What we are looking for 

• Typing speed of 70 wpm+  with strong accuracy

• Excellent English vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension

• Proficiency in MS Word and computer literacy

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.  

• Willingness to complete any required security clearances (funded by Epiq)

• Administration, data-entry, legal, editing, typist, or coordinator experience desirable.

• Prior transcription experience is an advantage but not essential
