What you'll be doing
The Aboriginal Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of high quality, safe and culturally appropriate nursing care within an individualised holistic framework, that is underpinned by compassion and consistent with NSW Health and Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) values, policies and standards. In the delivery of nursing care, the Aboriginal Registered Nurse will work under both the direct and indirect supervision of the Executive Director, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC).
The Aboriginal Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence-based nursing care that promotes safe, efficient and effective nursing care and culturally appropriate nursing support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a chronic disease. The Aboriginal Registered Nurse will:
