The Opportunity:  

CSR are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Segment Manager - National Hardware to lead our national customer strategy and drive sustainable growth across key strategic partnerships and Hardware accounts. 

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing strategic national partner relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading a high-performing National Accounts team. 

As Segment Manager - National Hardware, you will develop and execute growth strategies that strengthen CSR's position within the Hardware channel and deliver long-term value for both CSR and our customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Developing and implementing growth strategies for key national Hardware customers. 
• Driving execution of national strategies across regions and business units through effective stakeholder engagement. 
• Leading the negotiation, implementation and management of National Account commercial agreements. 
• Driving pricing strategy execution and overseeing National Account rebate governance and approvals. 
• Managing promotional programs and major customer events, including trade shows, Expos and customer conferences. 
• Managing CSR's position within key customers, including retail space negotiations and delivery against key retailer metrics such as GMROI. 
• Overseeing merchandising programs and store execution through internal teams and external partners. 
• Building and maintaining senior relationships with Buyers, Category Managers and executive customer stakeholders. 
• Coordinating strategic engagement between customer leadership teams and CSR executives. 
• Leading, coaching and developing the National Accounts team to build capability and deliver exceptional commercial outcomes. 

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

• 10+ years' experience in senior segment strategic segment, channel or sales leadership roles. 
• Strong experience managing major national customers within FMCG, building products, trade, hardware or related industries. 
• Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies that deliver sustainable revenue outcomes. 
• Exceptional commercial acumen with strong pricing, contract management and negotiation experience. 
• Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives. 
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment across complex organisations. 
• Strong analytical, planning and relationship management capabilities. 
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline preferred.
