2 x Positions Available | Entry Level & Experienced

Our Claims team manages logistics-related claims across our warehouse and transportation operations, including product loss, damage, delivery issues, and inventory discrepancies. We currently have two positions available within the team:

1. Claims Officer – Entry level / no previous claims experience required

2. Claims Specialist – 5+ years of relevant experience

You will work with customers, internal teams, and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to investigate claims, review supporting evidence, follow up on outstanding matters, and help achieve timely resolutions.

The responsibilities will vary depending on your experience and the position you are applying for.

Claims Officer

Entry Level | 0+ Years

This position is suitable for a recent graduate or someone looking to develop their career in logistics and claims.

What You'll Do

• Register and track warehouse and transportation claims.

• Collect and review PODs, delivery records, photos, and other supporting documents.

• Follow up with internal teams and LSPs for claim information and updates.

• Assist with claim investigations and identify missing information or discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation.

• Prepare basic Excel reports, claim summaries, and status updates.

• Assist with insurance and recovery documentation.

• Support the Claims team with day-to-day claim activities.

What We're Looking For

• No previous claims experience required.

• Recent university graduates are encouraged to apply.

• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, administration, or customer service is an advantage.

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to learn and develop within logistics claims management.

Claims Specialist

Experienced | 5+ Years

This position is suited to an experienced professional who can independently manage claims and work directly with customers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Manage warehouse and transportation claims from investigation through to resolution.

• Review PODs, WMS/TMS records, photos, contracts, and other evidence to determine the cause and liability.

• Manage complex, high-value, and escalated claims.

• Work directly with customers on claim investigations, updates, and settlements.

• Liaise with LSPs to investigate incidents and determine responsibility.

• Review claims against contracts and service level agreements to support financial recovery.

• Analyse claims data to identify recurring issues, trends, and areas for improvement.

• Prepare internal approvals and reports in Korean and English.

• Communicate with Samsung SDS Global HQ on relevant claims and operational matters.

• Provide guidance and support to Claims Officers when required.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, warehousing, transport, claims management, or a related field.

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Professional communication skills in English.

• Korean language skills are preferred but not essential

• Strong claims investigation and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of liability, claims recovery, and logistics operations.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

• Strong customer and stakeholder communication skills.

• Ability to independently manage complex claims and competing priorities.
