The Waste and Resource Recovery team is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that support the Gold Coast's growing community. Working across complex environmental and regulatory landscapes, the team develops and implements initiatives that improve waste management, increase resource recovery and drive positive environmental outcomes. You'll join a collaborative team that works closely with stakeholders across the organisation, industry and government to help shape the future of waste services.
About the role
As Senior Project Officer, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives focused on improving waste management and resource recovery outcomes across the city. Leveraging policy, planning, regulatory frameworks and funding opportunities, you'll support the development and delivery of projects that create lasting environmental and community benefits.
Working across the full project lifecycle, you'll undertake research and analysis, develop funding submissions, prepare high-quality reports and recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify innovative solutions to waste and recycling challenges.
