Senior Project Manager

About the role

Concrete Construction Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion and handover. This is a senior delivery role responsible for project performance, client relationships, subcontractor coordination, commercial outcomes and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects safely, professionally and within programme and budget.

• Lead clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.

• Manage site progress, quality, defects, risks and compliance.

• Oversee contracts, variations, progress claims, retentions and SOPA subcontractor claims.

• Monitor project costs, forecasting, reporting and financial performance.

• Lead project meetings and provide clear weekly reports to management.

• Identify issues early and implement practical solutions.

• Ensure accurate project records, handover documents and final close-out.

• Support and mentor Project Managers and site teams.

About you

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in Australian commercial construction.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project delivery and subcontractor management.

• Experience with variations, progress claims, retentions and commercial reporting.

• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong understanding of quality, safety, programme and cost control.

• Organised, accountable and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
