About the role
Spectrum Surface Treatment is a leading quality and safety focused industrial blasting and painting business, servicing Western Australia's Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Commercial sectors. Due to sustained growth, we are seeking experienced workshop Blasters & Painters with attention to detail to join our team!

482 Visa Sponsorship for the right candidate
Essential Criteria:
3+ Years of industrial blasting and painting experience in a workshop environment
Understanding and familiarity with industrial paints eg. Zinc Rich Primers, High Build Epoxies, Polyurethanes
Competently use airless and conventional spray equipment
Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
Ability to apply coatings to specified dry film thicknesses through use of wet film gauges.
Ability to adjust application technique based on varying conditions
Familiarity with and understanding of full coating processes including cleanliness of substrates, stripe coating and the relevant QA/QC requirements
Understanding and familiarity with grit blasting to Sa 3 & Sa 2.5
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain blasting equipment & blast room
Ability to load and unload blasting trolleys
Desirable Criteria
Forklift Ticket
Operate a gantry or overhead crane
