About the Role

Max Stocks is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Person to join our Townsville warehouse team on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. You’ll play an important role in keeping our warehouse running smoothly, picking and packing customer orders safely and accurately across our freezer, chiller and dry areas. While the role is primarily warehouse-based, the ideal candidate will also hold a current MR or HR licence and be available to support our Delivery Driving team when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick/pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist in the safe loading of goods into vehicles for delivery
• Stock replenishment
• Correctly present paperwork in line with procedures
• Practice safe and correct manual handling
• General warehouse duties in a dry and cold store environment

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

• Forklift licence essential
• MR or HR licence preferable
• Comfortable working in cold environments (down to -25°C)
• Previous experience and understanding of warehouse and transport operations, preferably in the food service industry
• Good organisational, communication and time-management skills
• Highly motivated, flexible, with a solid work ethic and positive can-do attitude
• Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Great attention to detail and ability to learn a broad range of products
• Understanding of WHS and HACCP requirements
• Physically fit and able to undertake the duties of the role, including lifting/manual handling
