We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our warehouse and workshop operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining a safe and organised workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Organise inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where required).
• Assist the workshop team with material movement and general warehouse duties.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to perform manual handling and physical work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Ability to safely load, unload, move, and store heavy materials using correct manual handling techniques.

• Experience picking and packing engineering parts or manufacturing components is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory and stock control procedures.
• Ability to accurately identify, label, and organise engineering materials and finished products.

Pay: $29.63 – $38.29 per hour
