Social Media Specialist – Digital, Content & E-commerce

The Opportunity

Express Portables and Express Wellness are two fast-growing Australian brands, with more brands, products and exciting projects launching over the coming months.

We're looking for someone to own the organic social media presence across multiple brands.

We're looking for someone who genuinely understands content. Someone who instinctively knows what makes people stop scrolling, keeps up with changing algorithms and social media trends, and enjoys creating content that people actually want to watch.

You'll create photography, video, reels, social media posts and educational content that strengthens our brands, grows our audience and supports our wider marketing campaigns.

This is a hands-on content creation and social media role for someone who wants to own their work, bring ideas to life and produce high-quality content that delivers real results.

As our marketing team continues to grow, this role also offers genuine opportunities to progress into broader digital marketing responsibilities over time.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for planning, creating and publishing content across multiple brands while working alongside our Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Digital Marketer and Web Developer.

This role carries genuine responsibility. You'll be trusted to manage multiple projects, contribute ideas, meet deadlines and take ownership of your work. We're looking for someone who is confident making decisions, solving problems and consistently delivering high-quality marketing.

The content you create won't just appear on our social media channels. It will also be used across our websites, email marketing and paid Meta campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

Organic Social Media

• Own the organic social media presence across multiple brands.
• Plan and schedule content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and help grow our online presence.
• Review performance and continually improve content using engagement data and audience insights.

Content Creation

• Capture photography and video of our products, display village, customer projects and behind-the-scenes activities.
• Create engaging Reels, short-form videos and social media content.
• Edit photos and videos using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
• Write captions, blogs, buyer guides and other marketing content.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera when demonstrating products or creating educational content.

You don't need to be a professional photographer or videographer. We work with specialist contractors for larger productions. What matters is that you have a good eye for content and know how to consistently create engaging social media content.

Marketing Support

• Assist with product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Create EDMs through Klaviyo.
• Update Shopify websites with products, images and content.
• Coordinate influencer and content collaborations.
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver campaigns across multiple brands.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has 3+ years' experience in a social media, content or marketing role.
• Understands that social media is a marketing tool, not just a creative outlet.
• Takes ownership of their work and enjoys being accountable for results.
• Can confidently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creates professional content that reflects a high-quality brand.
• Has strong photography, video editing and copywriting skills.
• Is organised, proactive and pays attention to detail.
• Is confident both behind and occasionally in front of the camera.

Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot or AI marketing tools will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
