Data Analyst

Location: MELBOURNE, VIC

Salary: $60,001 - $80,000

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support business operations.
• Interpret data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven insights.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of organisational data.
• Assist in developing and improving data collection processes and reporting systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend strategies to enhance business performance.
• Identify anomalies and data quality issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Support business planning and strategic decision-making through analytical reporting.

Essential Requirements -Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in a Data Analyst role (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
