Shifts Available:
6 hours of support on a Monday or Tuesday
Hours can be flexible and will be guided by the client needs

Our client is an active, family-oriented young person who loves dogs, spending quality time with his family, playing video games and keeping busy. He is looking for support workers who can encourage him to build his confidence, strengthen his everyday life skills and work towards greater independence.
We’re seeking confident, patient and enthusiastic support workers who are passionate about helping others live fulfilling lives. If you can bring positive energy, consistency and encouragement to every shift, while building a genuine and respectful connection, you could be a great match.
What You’ll Do:
Provide person-centred community access and in-home supports
In-home supports will focus on cooking (from a recipe), washing and cleaning whilst the client is learning to do these on his own
Support him to develop practical life skills and become more independent
Encourage him to build confidence and work towards his personal goals
Model positive social interactions and help him build meaningful connections
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with clients living with an ABI and mild intellectual disability
Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Someone who values independence, inclusion, and fun
Someone who loves dogs, playing video games, going for walks and being active
To be successful you must…
Have experience in the disability field, preferably working with someone living with an ABI and a mild intellectual disability
Resonate with the role description above

Have awesome multitasking, prioritising skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Hold a NDIS Worker Screening Card and Working with Children Blue Card
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

To deliver high-quality support to our clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
Communicate effectively and collaborate for our clients' needs with our clients, team & Support Specialist
Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our clients' needs
Provide support to our clients as required
To support our clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our clients
Be reliable, flexible and responsive to fill shifts when required
