About The Position

Smiles Eastgardens is currently looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a full time basis, with shifts available Monday through Saturday.

We offer a wide range of services, from general check-ups to cosmetic treatments, providing a great opportunity to expand your skills and work across a variety of procedures in a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What Do You Need To Succeed

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essentialA Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatoryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentCapability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathyAttention to detail
