The Opportunity

Live Plumbing and Gas Pty Ltd is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice who is passionate about the plumbing industry, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

You will work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain valuable hands-on experience across a diverse range of plumbing, gas, drainage, maintenance and emergency repair work.

• Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing, gas and drainage systems.

• Conduct routine inspections, fault finding and troubleshooting.

• Assist with diagnosing and resolving plumbing-related issues.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety standards, regulations and company procedures.

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver quality and timely solutions to clients.

• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while representing the company.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally possess:

• Hold a current open manual driver's licence.

• Your own basic hand tools.

• A strong commitment to safe work practices.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• A professional and well-presented appearance.

• A positive, reliable and professional attitude.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a dedicated team.

• A genuine passion for developing your skills and building a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

• Solar hot water systems experience (preferred but not essential)

• Experience in reporting, assessment, and investigative skills (preferred but not essential)

• Working with Children blue card (preferred but not essential)
