Senior ICT Project Lead (Redevelopment)

About the Role

Reporting to the Redevelopment ICT Program Manager, the Senior ICT Project Lead (Redevelopment) will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of technology work packages that support the Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment, operational commissioning and service readiness. Working closely with Digital Health teams, project stakeholders, contractors and external partners, the role is responsible for managing ICT Work Packages across the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, implementation, testing, transition and handover to operations. This role is expected to provide strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement and governance oversight to ensure Redevelopment technology work packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget and aligned with organisational objectives, supporting the successful opening and ongoing operation of the redeveloped hospital.

Key responsibilities include:

· Lead the delivery of redevelopment ICT work packages and ICT activities related to the redevelopment.

· Coordinate technology planning, design, procurement, implementation, testing and commissioning activities.

· Work closely with Digital Health teams, Capital Projects, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.

· Manage project schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.

· Prepare governance reports, project updates and executive briefings.

· Support operational readiness and transition-to-business-as-usual activities.

· Contribute technical and project management expertise across redevelopment design reviews and implementation activities.

About You

You are a highly collobrative and delivery focused project professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. You have excellent communication skills and can build and manage productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

To be successful, you will require below Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience delivering ICT, digital health, infrastructure or technology-enabled projects in a complex environment.
• Strong project management capability including scope, schedule, risk, budget and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent project management certification.
• Knowledge of ICT infrastructure, digital health systems and operational readiness activities.
• Vendor, procurement and contract management experience.
• Strong planning, organisational and documentation skills
