About the role
Anglicare Tasmania is seeking a permanent, part-time (40hrs per fortnight) Youth Development Coach, based in Hobart (Trinity Hill, Youth2Independnence Accommodation).
The hours must be worked over three days per week (20hrs per week) within the hours of 12.00pm to 8.00pm. Please include your preferred work structure within these guidelines within your cover letter.
About the Role:
The Youth Development Coach (YDC) is responsible for delivering the Education First Youth Foyer (EFYF) model to Students. The role requires the YDC to work within the Advantage Thinking framework and to coach Students to achieve their goals in education and employment. The YDC will have at least fortnightly contact with the Student to ensure their Learning Plan is progressing to achieve adulthood independence. The role is responsible for delivering the EFYF model within an integrated and collaborative framework with relevant stakeholders and services in the community. The role may require the YDC to complete shift work as required.
