Are you passionate about Italian delicacies, coffees and excellent customer service? Carbonis Next Door is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Delicatessen and Café Attendant to join our vibrant team. Located in Ballarat East and Buninyong, we bring a slice of Italy to our community through our Traditional locally made and Imported products, warm and welcoming service and atmosphere.

Position:

Delicatessen and Café Attendant:

Part-Time (average 24 hours per week)

Casual (on demand)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

• Preparing coffees, sandwich, gelato, shakes items and serving deli products.

• Taking payments.

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli areas.

• Ensuring all food displays are attractive and stock is rotated.

Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends (2-3 times a month on a rotating roster).

• for Part-Time must be available at least 3 days a week.

• Must be available from 7:30am and/or until 5:30pm.

• Must have previous experience in a café and/or delicatessen.

• Must be able to make quality coffee.

• Must have or be able to obtain RSA.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
